These are from today, Elaines 4 week birthday!

This was a hard shot at arms length and a bucking baby.

Poor thing! Her skin is so bad this week with acne and scratches.

Please help Elaine decide which shoes to wear for blessing day, Sunday December 6th. The shoe on the Left is a lovely MaryJane Nana picked out and the shoe on the right is Dads old silk slipper. They are both beautiful and both fit nicely.

oh.. her cheeks have filled out in the last couple weeks! so sweet. Both shoes are cute. What does her dress/outfit look like?

I haven't put the gown on her that Nana sent yet, but it's long long long and will cover the shoes anyway.

Oh hell (I mean heck). I want to say the Mary Janes. But how cool to wear what your pappy wore on the same special day 31 years earlier and be able to brag about it to someone someday??? I don't know... But my vote is to go with the Mary Janes and frame or do something else cool with the older slippers. What does Gabe say and when will her and Shelley start blogging and commenting??????????

Uhhh, BTW, you have her slipper on the wrong foot. The button should be on the outside.

Well hell(I mean heck),Oh I've got to quit the cussing.Seems the older I get, the easier it comes. Brad just looked at the blog and voted for the old faded, stained yellowed ones.

I realized I grabbed the wrong slipper when it was too late. I had it on the foot already and you can't see Lainie's face but she was not happy about modeling the shoes.

I love the slipper & love it more since it's a sentimental thing, but this is coming from somebody who had a blessing dress made from the same fabric as her wedding dress.

I forgot to tell you how cute those Lainie pics are! She has really filled out and changed since I saw her.

Also,(geeeez, are ya getting sick of my comments yet?) Feel free to cut the leangth of the dress and rehem it if you feel like it is too long. Not a problem for me at all.

Am I supposed to cut it or should it stay long? I'm new to this.

It is suppose to be long like that. In fact all the dresses I looked at in three different shops only sold long ones. But I have seen short ones as well on babies in church. It's just a matter of preference. Probably the longer ones look a bit more elegant and dressier. Your choice.

Joanie... glad you asked opinions?

I love both of them, but my vote is the sentimental. I love them. She is getting so big, and has such sweet cheeks.

I don't know when she's having her blessing day... probably already passed. I love them both. Hard choice. She's so adorable!!!!!!

I go with the sentimental too..... If you care. and Britney, I did see Bev at church once.... Leave her alone.

I vote for the one on the right foot, I know what they look like because I have an exact pair (same woman made them - Clare Magers) that Travis was blessed in, I couldn't get any of my kids to take them and use them. I still have them in my drawer, I think they have become more beautiful with age!!! I'm so with the sentimental!!! BTW, the baby is just beautiful, actually - stunning.

I think your baby is just darling and I wish I could give her a squeeze and a kiss.
