Happiest Day Ever.

I know I whined and moaned about it and the butterflies in my stomach arrived around 6:00 am on Sunday (D-day), but everything went so perfectly and beautifully that August 23rd will be our day forever. So there you have it, we finally tied the knot and even though we still don't "feel" married, I definately feel complete and secure. Thank you mommy for making me feel like a princess and accepting the man I love the way you do. Thank you Mom and Dad Paxman for coming such a long way to share our special day and contributing your support in such a big way. Thank you Shelley for helping in every way you could and being the special sister you are and last but not least, thank you Gretchen, Grant and Brielle for being so accepting and loving. I have a fine family.

Hey Kendall, remember this pose from the dam in Page, AZ?

I don't have any of the good group pictures. Beverly and my mom have those.

Geez, that's a big baby!

I've let Bev have her way now it's my turn.

I wanted to wait for Beverly to spill the beans about our big day since it's mostly her family that reads my blogs and I thought it would be better coming from her. So, now that it's all out there I can vent. It went from private ceremony and dinner to witnesses and reception minus the DJ (my mom did find one just in case). I ended up having to design a cake with a specialist and try to match wristlets with the dresses. These are all decisions I never intended to make. But no matter how many times I say, "I just want to have dinner", my bridezilla mom won't listen. I am really, really grateful that Beverly and Brad are coming because my mom would have done all this anyway and Wayland would have been really left out without his family. We really should have planned it better so more could share our day with us and please know that we are feeling guilty about this. We only wanted to get it over with. Sorry Wayland, I couldn't stop this freight train.

PS. I am secretly super excited!

PSS. I forgot to warn the Paxmans about the Squeteri's... I was joking about telling them to prepare for the hurricane weather but I am not joking about my family. They are loud, they bicker, they are always right and they are Italian. 5 Squeteri's in one room could easily sound like 20. I am expecting 18 so... brace yourselves.

Thank you Kathy and Thank you Wayland!

Wayland brought this DVD home from the library. It was a sweet thought. This great 1989 production of Kathy Smith's Pregnancy Workout demonstrates how gross it is to watch chunky pregos in unitards working out to a sweet 80's beat and feelin' the burn. I did it for a couple of minutes and I decided this is something I must do in private to spare my dignity. My favorite part is when Kathy says, "...And now your kegels, ... 2, 3, 4 and 1, 2, 3, 4."

I'm DONE!!!!!!!

I received my final grades yesterday for the remaining two classes I needed for my A.S. degree! I got an 'A' and a 'C', that means I made it! I finally have a 'graduated' status and it feels GOOD! It only took 8 years to do it but I did it and did it in the nic of time.
I now hold an AS degree in Computer Information Technology (CIT) Tech support
and the following technical certificates:

  • Tech Support Specialist

  • Web developement Specialist

  • Computer Programming Specialist

This has been quite a BIG year for us and I am soooo greatful for all the wonderful surprises, love and support that has been offered us. The real question is, what now? I've been at a community college so long that I'm afraid to re-enter society. I'm glad I have some time to think about what my next move is while I prepare for the baby.
