It's cold.

It's 34° and it's coooooollllld! Just north of us is 27°. I know you Utahn's are cold too but we're freakin out! Everything is brown and our kids have a constant sniffle. ANY ADVICE?

Gone to lunch.

I don't have any news to announce and no cute pictures to post. Sorry, but we can't be interesting ALL the time. Besides, I feel like I should operate like an anti-depressant and wait for the "good stuff" to build up. Then I'll open the flood gates.

I won't leave you hanging though... For the time being, please enjoy someone else's family.

When it rains it pours

Despite Wayland's opinion, we have had it pretty good for quite some time. That doesn't mean things were peachy, that just means we were working through everyday issues and staying optimistic about life's circumstances. All that can come to a crashing halt with the blink of an eye. That doesn't mean anyone has been hurt or we are sleeping in the streets, that just means between yesterday and today, my optimism has de-optimised. I'm not planning on cryin' the blues but man uncontrollable circumstances really know how to open your eyes and put you in your place. I guess we all need times like this to make us hope for just "doing OK" times.

Those Swedes know how to have fun. At our house finger puppets are also called mouth puppets.

Also, I promise to start acting like I have more children then this one. I crocheted all of them winter hats for Valentines Day so on Wednesday I'll take pictures of all 4 kids and post them with their silly hats!

Gross weather

In case you were curious what our part of continent looks like. We just had another cold front the last couple of days. Some places were sub-freezing again but now it's just wet wet wet. (Poor Gretchen she is so concerned about her hair these days).

• taking a second to blog.
• waiting to hear back from a company called www.taylorworks.net about a programming position. I had a second interview today. Keep your fingers crossed.
• looking forward to a hot shower and my Dan Brown book "Digital Fortress".
• hoping Brielles snotty nose will clear up before it turns into something serious.
• not looking forward to a parent/teacher conference tomorrow to discuss Brielles potential FCAT scores.
• wishing the baby would take longer naps during the day. 45 minutes is not long enough.
• wanting to get the tax thing out of the way.
• really excited about our first Valentines Day together (married-together).
• noticing my hair is matted on one side where Elaine vomited in it.
• planning on having "The Talk" with Brielle this week.
• thinking about the skating adventure my sister and I had Saturday night and when we will do it again. (I don't think I look cool anymore when I shuffle.)
